Freudenberg Medical begins construction of its second manufacturing plant in the country, located in Parque Coyol.
With an investment of $25 million, the company aims to triple its current workforce of 300 employees, reaching 900 people in the next three years.
The initial phase of the new facility, spanning 5,000 square meters, will be dedicated to the assembly of high-volume, minimally invasive catheters for electrophysiology, vascular and structural cardiac therapies and other medical devices that require high-precision manual assembly. It will house three ISO 7 clean rooms.
