 The
government of Guatemala requested the Firm’s services
for a consultation on the promotion of foreign investment
in that country. The advice offered included the institutional
design and organization of a national agency in charge of
foreign investment promotion, the development of the laws
and regulations needed for its implementation, the evaluation
of the existing regimes that provide incentives for the attraction
of foreign investment, and recommendations for their reform.
